Wind Inher Sleeves showed her rivals a clean pair of heels as she blazed a trail in the opening two-year-old maiden at Dundalk.

Fran Berry popped out in front on the Jim Ryan-trained filly and she proved too speedy for her rivals in the five-furlong contest.

She kept going well in the closing stages to post a two-length victory over Kernoff 10/11 favourite Monsieur Power was third.

The 10/1 winner had been fourth in a decent Curragh maiden over six a couple of weeks back and was dropping to the minimum trip for the first time.

“She’s a grand little filly. She’s by Speightstown and is bred for speed,” said Ryan.

“We brought her here about eight weeks ago and I though she went well on the polytrack so I said we’d come back. It’s been a lucky place for me.

“She has plenty of gears and it was a fast time. We’ll leave her alone until next year. She should get six and seven furlongs."
