He could be the new King of Cork - certainly as far as punters are concerned - as teenage rising sensation Connor King sealed a four-timer there on Tom McCourt's Horsewithnoname (10/1).
"I would have had multiple winners a good few times in pony racing. It's unbelievable and brilliant. You don't expect this," a jubilant Connor King said upon dismounting after Divison 2 of the mile and a half handicap.
Horsewithnoname brought up a double for Tom McCourt as King was also on board his Kiss The Stars
"Horsewithnoname has always shown ability. Connor must have made the difference. He rides with serious confidence," Tom McCourt said.
"That horse has had a lot of different owners and one pulled out last week. I thought he ran well in Wexford last week and our patience has been rewarded."
Horsewithnoname started to mount his challenge beyond a furlong out. He swept into the lead, but then Hangar Five (7/1) and Danny Grant threw down their challenge in the last 100 yards.
It was nip and tuck all the way to the line, but Horsewithnoname edged it by a short head. Timjoe at 20/1 came home third with Danequest (16/1) fourth.
Horsewithnoname landed some nice bets having been 20/1 this morning.
Connor King turns 17 on August 19. His Cork four-timer paid 14,725/1.
