The Aidan O’Brien trained Tom Sawyer made it third time lucky in the Mocklershill Stables Maiden at Tipperary today.

Ridden by O’Brien’s son Joseph, the son of Dansili led a furlong out before staying on gamely for a head win over 25/1 newcomer Gossamer Seed

O’Brien was not present for the win.
