Luke Dempsey enhanced his fine record on Shes Some Doll when the pair teamed up to land the opening claiming hurdle at Roscommon.
The 11/4 favourite had the box seat on the shoulder of Scarpeta turning for home and jumped to the front three out.
She was still on the bridle for Dempsey and began to assert after the next flight. The seven-year-old wasn't fluent at the last, but didn't lose any momentum as she strode in by five and a half lengths.
Market-drifter Sicario took second at 12/1 and was half a length in front of nicely-backed Breffni Brave (10/1 - 6/1).
Gavin Cromwell said: "She's very consistent in fairness to her. She couldn't get into a rhythm over fences the last day. When she misses one she just can't get back into a rhythm, but she was good there today.
“We had her in at a low enough price and we'll see if we can get her back. It was nice to get a win with her.”
Dempsey has never been out of the first three in his eight rides on She's Some Doll. This was his second win on the Yeats mare.
Shes Some Doll was claimed by Declan A. Reilly to be trained by Tom Gibney.
