Seefood made amends for a final fence unseat over the course last month as he ran out a convincing winner of the Kieran Kelly Memorial Beginners Chase.
The Dessie Hughes trained seven-year-old looked set to win here on his last start but unseated Barry Geraghty at the last when in front.
Sent off the 8/11 favourite this evening he raced in mid-division as Il Fenomeno went into a clear lead with Bonifacio tracking him in second.
He moved into a moderate third after the fourth last and was much closer to the leading duo before the next.
He hit the front before the final fence and was soon ridden clear, making no mistake at the last this time, going on to score by eleven lengths.
Il Fenomeno kept on to take second at 8/1 under Shane Shortall for Noel Meade while Bonifacio was a further length and a half back in third under Graham O’Sullivan for Sabrina Harty at 28/1.
Dessie Hughes said afterwards: "It's nice to win this race (in memory of Kieran Kelly). It's eleven years now and time flies. Kieran's father and brother are here tonight.
"This fellow jumped well. They went particularly quick for around here but once he went to them he picked up well enough.
“We'll see what mark he gives him now. He's a three-miler."
