Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh completed a quick double at Clonmel as Chambord Du Lys readily landed cramped odds in the two-mile Clonmel Maiden Hurdle.
The French import has been expensive to follow when twice beaten at odds on for current connections, although she was unlucky at Fairyhouse last time when making a bad mistake at the last.
However those who helped send her off at 1/4 here had few worries as she cruised to the front two out.
Walsh’s mount stretched clear on the run-in to beat Monbeg Chit Chat by six and a half lengths, with Nicat’s Benefit a further six lengths away in third.
Walsh and Mullins were also successful half-an-hour earlier with Kate Appleby Shoes in the mares maiden hurdle.
Mullins said, "She was unlucky the last day but it was nice to get it today. I think she's alright now and has enough experience and I'll wait for better ground with her.
"She's able to handle that ground and win on it at that level but to improve she'll want better ground. I wouldn't think she'll run in the mares' novice at Cheltenham."
