Insayshable (8/13f) made all in the concluding race at Gowran Park to give Ger Lyons and Colin Keane a double.
The 107-rated colt was well ahead of his three rivals on official ratings and Keane kept it simple as the pair kept on well in this extended nine-furlong contest to win by two lengths. Aneen (5/2) was best of the rest some three and a half lengths in front of Pincheck
Ger Lyons said: "That was grand. I don't like making it. He came back from the Derby Trial and was covered in ringworm, typical of a weak horse. When you get it in May you just have to be patient, back off and let him come to himself. He has a temperament to die for. He is a lovely quality horse.
"We will stick to the mile and two for the minute. He doesn't want it any faster than that. We will bring him home and see how he comes out of it, he'll improve for the run and we'll try and plot it steady, steady.
"We'd like to be thinking big for next year as opposed to this year. He is a horse I like.
"He could go for a Group Three on Champions Weekend but he is ground dependent - if there is firm in the description he won't be running. We will treat him kindly, with a view that next year is the main deal."
Insayshable was a close fourth in the Group Three Derby Trial at Leopardstown in May, a length and three parts behind third-placed Capri who subsequently won the Irish Derby.
Lyons and Keane teamed up with Always Dancing in race two on the card.
