It could be another big weekend for the Supreme Horse Racing Club with Listen Dear putting her unbeaten record over fences on the line in the Kerry Group European Breeders Fund Mares Novice Chase at Cork.

Two days after unleashing two smart prospects at Limerick in Kemboy and Cadmium, the successful ownership group claimed its first Grade One success as Airlie Beach secured her seventh win from as many starts with a tremendous front-running display in the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse.

Point-to-point runner-up Listen Dear was beaten in her first two bumpers for Willie Mullins, but made it third-time lucky with a runaway success at Downpatrick and won three of her four appearances over hurdles, including a Grade Three at Down Royal.

She made a flying start to her chasing career at Ballinrobe in September and having justified prohibitive odds when edging out Thanks For Tea at Thurles last month, connections feel the time is right to step Listen Dear up in class.

Supreme racing manager Steve Massey said: " We are looking forward to Listen Dear stepping up in grade and it would be fantastic if she can get black type over fences, having won a Grade Three over hurdles.

"She was a bit too brave at Thurles last time, but it was only her second start over fences and we hope she can improve again.

"Her style of racing is exciting to watch as she goes off hard and fast and we're very much looking forward to seeing her in action again.

"The club are still on a high after last weekend and long may it continue."

The champion trainer, who won this Grade Three prize with Vroum Vroum Mag in 2014, also saddles recent Wexford scorer Daisy's Gift in a nine-strong field.
