Let Yourself Go rewarded connections' patience when winning the Broderick Electical Beginners Chase at Ballinrobe this evening, his first win since March '08

Well ridden by Shane Hassett, the son of Zaffaran made most of the running and responded gamely when pressed by runner-up Penny's Bill on the run-in, eventually scoring a three parts of a length win.

Afterwards winning trainer Adrian Maguire reported “we always thought a lot of Let Yourself Go but he has had a few niggling problems – his owners have been very patient.”

He added “judging by that performance he'll go further and is suited by better ground. I think there's a good prize in him.”
