A quality seven-race mixed card is down for decision at Killarney this evening with the Grade C Bourn Vincent Memorial Handicap Chase the feature race on the programme. Annie Other will bid to go out on a high in this valuable contest as she is turned out again quickly after finishing a good fourth to Simenon in the Grade Three Grimes Hurdle at Tipperary on Saturday.
The eight-year-old mare has been a great servant to owner Elizabeth O'Leary, winning six times.
Trainer Pat Doyle said: "She ran on Saturday and she ran a good race. We are hoping she will be fresh in the morning and we will decide whether or not to run her then.
"It was a fabulous run from her on Saturday. We were trying to get a bit of black type but unfortunately she just got touched off but she ran 20lb above her rating anyway.
"This will be her last run as she is in foal to Shirocco."
The Tony Martin-trained Ted Veale looks an obvious danger with Barry Geraghty booked to ride. This son of Revoque was campaigned at the highest level over the winter months and having his first start in handicap company over fences now he can be expected to go close. Klepht put a pleasing performance on his return to action at Wexford recently and he is another to consider, while Loosen My Load and Nearly Nama'd are sure to make their presence felt.
The Christy McSweeney Memorial Novice Chase rounds off proceedings and it is definitely a contest worth waiting around for.
Royal Ascot hero Domination is the stand-out name in this two-and-three-quarter-mile contest but he will face stiff opposition in the shape of Cailin Annamh Bally Longford and Alelchi Inois
The remaining jumps race on the card is the MC Group Handicap Chase and it looks a wide-open affair with Fort George Tylers Cottage Prosperity Square Close Review and A Decent Excuse a few for the shortlist.
The opening contest on the card is the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden and Intense Debate might be finally able to get off the mark for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning, with Blackstone for Aidan and Joseph O'Brien appearing to be his biggest danger.
Just five have been declared for the Dermot O'Leary Memorial Rated Race and after impressively winning on debut at Limerick last month Stay De Night looks the one to side with. Rayna bids to complete a hat-trick in the Ross Golf Club Handicap and she should prove hard to beat, while El Salvador Gambling Girl and Fire Fighter look the three to focus on in the SeanieMac.com Qualified Riders Race.
