Having won the previous race, jockey Colin Keane completed a quick double when guiding the Brendan Duke trained Mykonian Odyssey to victory in the GAIN The Advantage Series Nursery Handicap at Naas.
With intended partner Seamie Heffernan missing his rides on the afternoon, Keane stepped in for the winning spare ride on the daughter of Waldgeist.
Backed from as big as 25/1 overnight, the Duke trained filly was eventually returned 10/1, having been shorter at one point in the afternoon.
Held up towards rear from her inside draw, Mykonian Odyssey travelled nicely in mid division at halfway, before being angled out for a run over a furlong out.
Still having five or six horses in front of her at that stage, she picked up strongly up the stiff hill to overall long time leader Great Mover close home.
"She's been running in very good company,” said Brendan Duke.
“I had her in the Moyglare and hummed and hawed but I thought I'd put the handicapper in an invidious position if I ran in the Moyglare and was thereabouts so we decided we'd take the nine-and-a-half grand.
“She's s filly for tomorrow really. She's not straightforward. She was on speed-dial all summer to the Samaritans until they started hanging up and then I had to step in and get her a pal.
“She's a very nice filly and she's not a typical Waldgeist because she has loads of pace. We like her.”
