The ground at Punchestown is now being described as good following 20mm of rain since declaration time yesterday. (Good to Firm yesterday)

5mm of rain fell at the Co. Kildare track overnight, but a further 15mm fell this morning during a spell of persistent rain that is due to clear to showers from early afternoon.

Two small field races 'top and tail' the programme with good prospects Captain Arceus and Bonisland expected to head the market in the 2.15 and 5.25 respectively.
