The ground at the Curragh has further eased to yielding (on round course) and yielding to soft (in the straight) after 10.2.mm of rain in the last 24 hours.

There will be seven metres of fresh ground on the round course and on the far side of the straight course today. Anna May Wong is all the rage for the opening nursery at 2.15pm. Punters want to be with John Oxx's Nonetheless in the concluding mile and a half fillies' handicap, as she trades at 4/1 from 11/1. The three-year-old won her maiden in Galway when last seen at the end of July.
