Ferris suffers wrist injury

Jockey Martin Ferris has suffered a suspected fractured wrist at Tramore today, following a fall from the ill fated Wells China in the 2m7f beginners' chase.

Ferris' mount slipped up on the bend after six out and was subsequently put down. Ferris' injury is not yet confirmed but is thought to be a wrist injury.
