Experience helps Alpine
The Jessica Harrington trained Alpine Eagle made it fourth time lucky over hurdles at Thurles today, easily winning the Cahir Maiden Hurdle, under Barry Geraghty.
The son of Golan progressed to lead at the second last flight, staying on strongly for an easy 14 lengths win over The Rebel Returns
Afterwards Harrington reported "Alpine Eagle settled a lot better today than he did at Cork last time out and is improving all the time. He's a nice horse and we'll go for a winners' race next."
