Game Set Dash got up close home to win the last at the Curragh, the TRM Invest In Calphormin Maiden, providing Ger Lyons, Colin Keane and owners Qatar Racing Limited with double on the card (earlier took the feature with Ainippe .

The bay son of Arch was a beaten odds-on favourite at Dundalk on his last start while he was beaten there last November on his debut when also odds-on.

Sent off a 9/2 chance today he was settled in second before coming under pressure over two furlongs out.

50/1 shot Here For The Craic looked set for a shock win inside the final furlong but the winner rallied in the closing stages, getting up in the final strides to win by half a length

The runner-up was ridden by Jack Kennedy for Keith Budds while Pincode was a further three parts of a length back in third under Declan McDonogh for Patrick Prendergast at 20/1. Torcedor was sent off the 13/8 favourite and he finished fourth under Wayne Lordan for David Wachman.

Ger Lyons said afterwards: "They didn't go a great gallop and he wants every yard of it and will get further. He got caught a bit flat-footed but stuck to his task well.

"He can only get better, you can see that by the size of him. I always thought he could be a Stakes horse, although he needs to improve on that form if he's going to be at that level.

"He won't be anything until he's a four-year-old, and could be a horse for Australia in time. It's nice to get a double for Sheikh Fahad."

The winner cost 150,000 US Dollars as a yearling and he holds an entry in the Irish Derby.
