Donnas Palm impresses at Navan

The Noel Meade trained Donnas Palm justified favouritism when winning the opener, The 2009 Navan Membership Hurdle in great style under Paul Carberry in the colours of The Grand Alliance Racing Club.

Carberry raced the Great Palm gelding in behind the leaders, improved to lead travelling well approaching 3 out, clear from before last and eased close home.
