Conrad Hastings fought back on the run-in to win Killarney's novice chase for Henry de Bromhead and Ruby Walsh.

He led throughout but was less than fluent two out and didn't put his best jump in at the last. This enabled Potters Point to head him on the run-in after landing full of running.

However, Walsh drove Conrad Hastings (7/4f) back up to land the spoils by a short head.

Potters Point had to settle for second at 5/2.

Henry de Bromhead said: "Ruby was really pleased with him but he was just a little silly over the last couple.

"He has always been a nice horse and I was probably running him on the wrong ground during the winter, simple as that.

"It's great to have him back and he could come back here in August for the 2m4f and the Graded Chase at Tipperary in October also."
