The money came for Buttons and Bows (10s into 11/2) before the Garry Flood Landscapes Handicap Chase and the Flemensfirth mare fairly bolted up under Jody McGarvey.

The 9/2 favourite Allardyce gave it a good go from the front but he was joined by the strong-travelling winner two out and she went away to beat the market leader by eleven lengths.

Pulled up in her first two attempts in handicap chases, the Pat Flynn-trained dual hurdles winner was a different proposition here after a pleasing run on the Flat at Tramore last month.

“She jumped very well and travelled well,” said McGarvey.

“They went very hard up front and it all fell apart — she picked up the pieces.

“Pat has her back in great form. She had a lovely run on the Flat the last day and has stepped forward from that.”
