Dylan Browne McMonagle has a number of fancied rides at Dundalk this evening notably aboard the Joseph O’Brien-trained pair Al Mudhaffar and Wigmore Street

Al Mudhaffar is now odds-on for the Ross Clair Maiden at 6.15 in the absence of Sir Sagacious, while Wigmore Street has been well-backed for the KE Builders Race half-an-hour later.

The son of American Pharoah has been sidelined since winning his only previous start for Simon Crisford at Kempton 15 months ago but has been well supported into 11/8 (from 9/4).

Browne McMonagle was successful on the Ray Cody-trained War Correspondent here last month and the grey gelding is all the rage to follow up in the featured Unitek Handicap (8.15).

The five-year-old son of Teofilo has gone up 11lb after drawing clear inside the final furlong to beat the progressive Yokkell by five lengths and has been backed from 5/1 into half those odds to score again over 1m4f.

John McConnell and Keithen Kennedy have forged a successful partnership here this year and Highland King has attracted support (6/1 into 3/1) in the CT1 Apprentice Handicap at 7.45.

The eight-race card at Dundalk gets underway at 4.40.
