Beach too classy for Wexford rivals

Class shone through as Beach Of Falesa landed the opening [email protected] Mares Maiden Hurdle at Wexford. Rated not far below 100 on the level where she's a four time winner, the Dylan Thomas mare not surprisingly travelled at her ease against mainly National Hunt types.
In truth Robbie Power never had to ask the J P McManus-owned and Aidan O'Brien-trained 11/4 favourite for anything like the maximum and she extended away on the run-in to defeat Ellaway Rose by five lengths.
"She has learned to settle and that's the big improvement with her. She is so quick at her hurdles too," stated Power.
On conditions the Grand National winning jockey said: "The ground is summer soft." (DM & EM)
