Asdaa burst through between rivals to grab success in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Fairyhouse.
The Dermot Weld-trained colt came with a powerful surge close home to get up for a neck success over Darkash
The 5/1 shot was pushed along to go third over a furlong from home and stayed on strongly for Declan McDonogh to open his account at the second time of asking.
The son of Dutch Art had been seventh of ten on his debut in a Curragh maiden last month.
“It was a good strong ride from Declan McDonogh,” said Weld.
“He'll probably go for a nursery now. He has a good attitude and is tough. I thought he'd run very well here today.”
