The Jim Bolger trained Aerialist made a winning start to 2015 when landing the opening Flat Breeze Up Sale At Gowran Park May 21st & 22nd 2015 Maiden on his fourth start, at Gowran today.

Ridden by Kevin Manning, the son of Sea The Stars raced prominently throughout and, in the closing stages, showed great battling qualities to initially edge past leader Tadaany and then rally to beat Ardhoomey by a head.

Afterwards travelling head lad Ger Flynn, representing Jim Bolger, stated "Kevin (Manning) said he was very brave carrying that weight, and it rode a good race.

"He's in the five furlong Listed race at Naas tomorrow but we'll have to see how he comes out of this. The ground is probably riding a bit quick."

An Aerlialist is a trapeze artist, or in slang, a burglar who gains entrance to a building or apartment by leaping from rooftop to rooftop, sliding down ropes, or the like.
