In-form team win with progressive Verbal Fencing
September has been excellent for Luke McAteer. The Donegal man today followed up a Tipperary brace from Tuesday to win the Naas Nursery Handicap on Verbal Fencing (7/2 favourite). Thu 17th Sep3 winners in 3 days for Luke McAteer
The Paddy Power Live Streaming Nursery produced a thrilling finish as the front-running Verbal Fencing (11/4) got the verdict by a nose in a head-bobber with Barretstown (28/1). Fri 04th SepHayes happy to get on Weld winner Tiger Mylk
Tiger Mylk stepped out of maiden company for the first time on her fourth outing to land the Irish EBF Supporting Irish Champions Weekend Nursery Handicap at Killarney. Fri 21st Aug
After race at Naas Thu, 17th Sep, 2020 (1st)
She was stepping up to a mile there and seemed to stay really well, she hit the line travelling really well. Luke said he was always confident, sitting third or fourth. We were a bit concerned about the ground but she handled it well. It was easy in Down Royal but that was good today, beautiful ground. She did it well and we'll look for another nursery. Luke seems to get on well with her. He's having a good run and is in a real purple patch.

She's tough and she stays well. She probably hasn't much speed, but stuck at it well to the line and going further she will be a better filly. She was very tough and when the boss has one like this you always have a bit of confidence that you can win. Big thanks to Kevin (Manning), he told me I would win if I made the running and got her up there early. She got to the line and that is what it is all about.
