Tiger Mylk stepped out of maiden company for the first time on her fourth outing to land the Irish EBF Supporting Irish Champions Weekend Nursery Handicap at Killarney.
Like the first winner on the card, San Martino Tiger Mylk was drawn in stall one, and she found plenty when required by Chris Hayes to beat Creative Mojo by two lengths.
Dermot Weld had put a visor on Tiger Mylk for the first time here and Hayes reflected: "She’s a lovely filly and caught my eye in Galway when she met a little interference on the turn and I was on her inside.
“I was glad to get on her today, she handled ground conditions and hopefully she can progress from it.
"She is very honest and genuine and the Rosewell horses are in good shape and I have a good record for him (Weld) this year so I'm glad to get on them."
The Stewards looked at an incident approximately a furlong and a half from the finish where Verbal Fencing ridden by K.J. Manning, appeared to check. Having viewed the recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
