It's great to get a few winners again. The horses have been running well all year but we probably just don't have the standard of horses that we can really compete with. On top of that we were getting a lot of seconds. I minded a few of the winter horses because the ground has been so good all year. The handicapper has been good to this one. She is back to the mark which she won off last year. I thought she was very unlucky in Wexford the last day after she made a mistake. The mare won well last night and Adam gave this one a great ride this evening. It's lovely to get a few winners. We will be quiet enough for the summer but we have some very nice horses for the winter if I can manage to keep going to get there!

It’s lovely to win another chase with her, and Adam gave her a super ride. She’s in Downpatrick tomorrow in what looks like an ordinary chase again, and we’ll see how she is in the morning. We might just try again. She stayed going really well as Danny looking like he was coming to beat us but she put her head down and battled really well. Weight I suppose helped too.

She is a low grade handicapper and won a chase at Downpatrick earlier on in the year. I kept saying to Jim (owner James Guilfoyle) that she was a bit unlucky once or twice, and that she might win another one, keep at her'. He has kept going with her and it's great that she got in and won. She was a bit unlucky around here once or twice when stuff went wrong in front of her. We said we'd let her tip along in front today because I thought there wouldn't be much pace in the race, and it worked out. We were second in the last race and I thought we had that won as well. Jim is from Moneygall and has been a massive supporter, and has been so good to me. He had a horse with me years ago called Jamie's Choice and she won five or six. Then we had a filly that wasn't so good. This one now is after winning twice and he has bought a new horse at the August Sales. He is a dairy farmer and loves racing and it’s great to have winners for him. She will go for a low grade chase at Tramore in few weeks' time. She'll stay in those low grade chases and hopefully she'll win another one somewhere.

She eventually got her luck. I thought she was going to win in Down Royal but she sort of got brought down at the second last. I ran her back in Thurles and it just came a bit quick for her. I went to Hereford for niceish ground and I got off the boat and it rained for 48 hours so eventually she got a bit of luck. I think with a bit of confidence she can follow up and win another chase. She's a summer mare and will tip away for the summer. I'm delighted for James Guilfoyle (owner, a Tipperary man) who is the most amazing owner and supporter and Adam (Short) gave her a very good ride, he was very positive on her the whole way.
