He is very tough and genuine. I didn’t think today was going to be a day for him as he always wins going around a bend. He had a hard enough race in Galway but he’s tough and had a light weight on his back today. He’s not the biggest horse in the world and everything fell right for him. It’s great for Clare and Andrew (Lennon, owner/breeders) to win a Premier Handicap here and he’s one to look forward to for next year.

We thought he'd win early on this spring as he is ground dependent and things came right today, with proper heavy ground. He has been a bit disappointing but the drop down into the grade helped and Gavin knows him well. He's finished for the year now and I'm delighted he won, as he has great owners.

he’s done it well and Gavin gave him a great ride. He really is a (ground) conditions-horse and shows his true form on heavy ground. He’s done that three times now and there might be something for him, maybe in Galway, before the end of the season as long as the rain keeps coming.

He's a grand horse, once the ground is soft. He really needs soft ground,. He won well in Gowran in soft and was unlucky in Galway. He won very well here today and he's something to look forward to. He was a little bit unlucky behind Duke Of Leggagh (in Galway) who has been second in a good handicap and won since. We were hopeful for today. We might have a look at a nicer race, he grinds it out and puts his head to the floor and tries.

He did it well. He's an Elzaam and that's his first time getting a bit of soft ground. The line came in time and Gavin gave him a brilliant ride. I'm delighted for the Lennons, they've had a few horses with me and this is the first winner they've had. He's a home-bred as well. We'll see what's coming up at the back-end of the year, it will be ground dependent. If there is a race there, and the ground is soft, we will kick on there providing he's okay.
