He has been very unlucky the last couple of times,. He finished fourth the time before but just missed the kick completely last time. Billy won on him before so I decided to put him back on him to see if he could get a better swing out of him. He was well in. He's a 45-65 horse and it's great to get one on the board for Rita Shah (owner).

I'm very happy. I don't know if we didn't see out the mile-and-a-half last week or what but we just bumped into a very good one,. He was a good second last week and I was just afraid of bouncing him back so quick. He doesn't normally bounce back that quick so I'm very happy and Billy gave him a superb ride. He's an honest little horse. Fingers crossed he can roll on now for the next couple of months because he's very lightly raced this year.

I probably owe this to Des Scahill - he told me to buy him out of Ger Lyons' yard so it is a big thanks to him. It's great for Rita (Shah) who is the biggest backer you could have and a big thanks to the staff who were in over Christmas, this makes it worthwhile.
