After race at Sligo Tue, 20th Aug, 2019 (1st)
If he had of jumped four out or three out here the last day, he would have won, and if the eventual second had kept any way straight he'd have won, so he was probably a very unlucky loser here the last day. I thought the young lad was brilliant on him. He's a horse that if he doesn't find a rhythm he's no use. He's improving away all the time. He's only ran here twice before, he won the first day and as I said he was an unlucky enough loser the last day. The slower ground and the bit of extra trip left room for blundering one or two. He'll go for the three-mile handicap in Listowel if he gets in. He goes on bad ground. He's very small and a light weight would be ideal.
Mark Michael McNiff
After race at Tramore Mon, 1st Jan, 2018 (1st)
I'm shaking like a leaf after that. That's my first winner and I'm based in Grange near Clonmel. I use Tom Keating's gallop. He was wearing cheek-pieces for the first time today, and they helped. He is a little bit of a monkey, a likeable rogue like myself!. I ride out below with Mouse Morris and I told him this morning I'd have my first winner today. I have two in at the moment, I have another Darsi mare. I rode a winner here for Michael Hourigan on Us And Mary (in 1993), I rode a few winners for Michael. I was a while with Mary Reveley as well. I was with them all, every stable bar Bethlehem!
