Consecutive wins for Miss Pronunciation
Market drifter Miss Pronunciation (13/8f — 100/30) gained consecutive wins at Punchestown today, landing Ladbrokes' Play 'Instant Spins' Handicap Hurdle for owner/breeders JP and Noreen McManus, trainer Padraig Roche and jockey Mark Walsh. Thu 16th NovWinning return for Miss Pronunciation
J.P. McManus' Miss Pronunciation made a successful reappearance - following nine months off, when proving the well-backed (morning 12/1, returned 9/2) winner of Limerick's Bluegrass Horse Feeds Handicap Hurdle today. Sat 21st Oct
That was great, she did it well. She's starting to settle a lot better than she was and I'd say that's bringing out the improvement in her. She loves that ground. We had the mother, she was a Topanoora mare and she loved that heavy ground. When it's like that we'll keep going and see what there is. The mother stayed but this one's not slow, I'd say two miles on that ground is her trip. She's improving the whole time.

Mark (Walsh) said it was a bit of a messy race but I thought she’d come on a bit from Limerick. She had a couple of setbacks and I’d say it’s done her no harm as she was weak and immature. She’s turning into a grand mare and hopefully she can keep progressing.
