Miss Pronunciation brought up her hat-trick over flights in good style in the rated novice hurdle at Fairyhouse.
A packed field of six runners held chances racing to the penultimate flight as Mark Walsh produced Miss Pronunciation on the inner.
His mount tanked away from the opposition between the final two flights and a lovely swift jump saw her home as she delivered by a very comfortable six lengths at 3/1. Lazer Wolf the well backed 15/8 favourite, briefly looked threatening in a improving second after two out, but had no answers by the final obstacle and had to settle for second.
Padraig Roche said: “That was great, she did it well. She's starting to settle a lot better than she was and I'd say that's bringing out the improvement in her.
“She loves that ground. We had the mother, she was a Topanoora mare and she loved that heavy ground. When it's like that we'll keep going and see what there is.
“The mother stayed but this one's not slow, I'd say two miles on that ground is her trip. She's improving the whole time.”
Miss Pronunciation was previously seen winning handicap hurdles at Limerick and Punchestown in October and November respectively.
