After race at Killarney Sun, 15th May, 2022 (1st)
I was very happy with him, he is improving the whole time. In the National he was the unlucky horse and had no race at all. He got boxed in and in fairness to Denis (O'Regan, previous jockey) he tried to get him jumping into it but kept jumping into the back of horses. He never got a breather and ran a remarkable race under the circumstances. Jack (Kennedy) says he would win a Grade 2 but whether or not he'd go for a Grade 1 I don't know. He said he'd love to ride him in the Galway Plate but that's another day so we'll see. Denis said he'd win a Munster National or maybe the Irish National next year. He came home from the Irish National and didn't blow in the yard and put on 25 kilos since. He's hot property at the moment but needs a month's break.

After race at Thurles Sat, 19th Mar, 2022 (1st)
His whole plan is the Irish National and he is entered. The weights are out next week, but he is rated 142 and should get in. I don't know if this will affect his handicap mark or not but I don't think the second horse is a 142-rated horse. so he probably ran to his mark. I didn't really want to win our beginners chase at this time of year but we were disappointed with his jumping the last day so we said we'd go for this. Denis said he loved the ground but wouldn't want it any quicker. He'll run in the Irish National next and us small men have to dream big!

After race at Fairyhouse Mon, 5th Apr, 2021 (1st)
He showed a lot of inexperience there. He has only six runs compared to all the others,. He was meant to run Saturday and I was delighted he was balloted out. It was the novice final and there were a heap of them in it. That was a grand small field there for an inexperienced horse. It worked out right and he loves the better ground. That's fantastic but I've no locals to cheer me on, that's the only thing.

After race at Leopardstown Sun, 7th Mar, 2021 (1st)
He’s a very honest horse and jumped well today. My one fear was that he might be a bit lit up at the start and he said it took him a while to settle. He dropped him back a bit behind the pace which was grand,. He’ll stay further and he’ll probably go for the three-mile novice handicap Final in Fairyhouse. At home you would imagine the horse that won yesterday would be two stone better but he’d done no jumping. When he (Palace Rock) gets his act together he’s different gravy altogether. It’s not always easy to win a maiden in Leopardstown. If only I had more horses. I’ve only three of them but it’s grand to get two of them up.
