Andalacia's Decent Debut
There were several fancied for the Boylepoker.com Median Auction Maiden but the newcomer Andalacia produced a smart performance to beat the well-backed favourite, Magic Mornings, by a length and a half. Fri 14th Nov
She stuck at it well. It was her first time in an all age handicap and I thought it looked a very competitive race and it was a great effort. Shane gave her a great ride and she did it well and answered every call. She wouldn't want anymore of an ease in the ground. I was little worried about the ground after the heavy shower before racing. She will probably come back here next week for a 6 furlong race.

She ran well last year and deserved to win this. She was fit and well and her experience helped her. It was great to get Johnny to ride her. She'll probably go for a fillies handicap on Derby weekend.
