she is a super mare and it was worth the drive up from Limerick!. we weren't concerned about the trip[ and she goes on any ground. We will have to strongly consider going to Cheltenham in March with her now and while Leopardstown over Christmas is also an option, we may give her a break now.

Macville is improving all the time and while we had thought about going chasing until we saw this Listed race. We were hoping for some blacktype and its great to win with her. We've no plans from here but will keep tipping away with her for the time being.

She is a very good mare. We'll probably go for something similar again but she'll jump a fence shortly. She owes me that, her sire busted my back (crushed vertebrae) with a kick when her dam was being covered. She had a great run in Listowel last time. My horses were sick in the spring time. I've got six in training for the winter and a couple for point-to-points.

I'm delighted with the week we're having, things are getting back to normal. We've always thought a lot of this horse well Tom [Doyle] did but she just wasn't performing but fair play to the owner Tony McNamara for sticking with her, it paid off today. I bred her myself so it was nice to see her win and hopefully it's the start of many.
