She likes it here and is very quick. The last day, ok she’s not a Group 2 filly, but the ground came up way too soft for her. She was also a bit quiet for a few days after it and maybe she was in season but she was a different ball game today and was like a colt in the yard. She’s thriving on racing and physically getting better. I think she’ll make a nice four-year-old but unfortunately we might be selling her at the end of the season as it’s part of the terms of the (MRC Internatiuonal) syndicate. She’s been Stakes placed twice and will go to Naas in 12 days for a six-furlong Group 3 and then back here for a Listed race over five. Hopefully we can get that win in a black type race.

It was a call whether or not to run her back quick or not but I felt Ronan was right at the Curragh when he felt the ground was too quick for her. She travelled really well in that race and flattened out. As a two year old she was hitting flat patches but is now doing the opposite and travelled too well to halfway the last day. She is in the Sapphire Stakes and while she'll be up against it, I wanted to bring her here to see what she would be like at five (furlongs). She is definitely travelling well much better now and is getting quicker. I'd also love to see her run in England in a hard-run five (furlongs) sprint. She is doing fantastic, cost 18,000 guineas, is a three-year-old who has done a lot and is going to get better.

She’s a lovely filly, but she’s not just a two-year-old. She’ll go to the Queen Mary. I think she probably didn’t learn much the second day (in Cork), so I’m glad she had the run here because she’s learned a good bit today. I think she will come on for it. It’s 16 days to the Queen Mary but we’ll be fine, I think. It’s exciting to have a filly like that. She has a lot of natural ability. She’s a big unit and she’s got plenty of gears. She hit the front plenty soon enough today and had a look but again I liked what I saw where she went around the bend, and he couldn’t pull her up. It’s a great bunch of people involved (owners MRC International). She’s the first runner, so hopefully there’s a few more nice horses in it. We set up the syndicate this year and bought 19 two-year-olds. It’s a two-year project, so it’s great to have one ready to go to Ascot, and hopefully there’s more to go to other places.

the syndicate is a concept we came up with last year - we have 40 members from Australia, America, Luxembourg, Ireland and England and Dubai and have 19 two year olds. We've already had a holiday in Dubai, we are trying to make it fun with more involvement and it is a two year project. I have been quiet for the last few years — we had a tendency to buy horses and hold on to them for a long time and not replace but what we are trying to do now is buy lots of horses and go back to the sales next year and buy the same, if not more, next year. We can train but we need horses, it is as simple as that.
