That's my first Grade 1 and it is great to do it with the owner's first horse in training in Ireland. He wants further and better ground and he might go to Kempton for the Feltham Chase at Christmas.

He is the best we have in the yard. He'll go for either the Grade 1 in Fairyhouse (the Drinmore) or to Cheltenham in November. He wasn't even half fit there and Davy said he was doing nothing in front.

I thought coming here today that two miles was a bit sharp for him but he is a spectacular jumper and jumped himself into the lead. David did the right thing by letting him go and he is improving all the time. I thought after his last run at Fairyhouse that we'd go up to three miles. Looking forward to next season and we've plenty of options now distance wise. The team have been in great form all season and the main reason is that they've stayed healthy for so long. We've hardly had a cough or any illness. We've a good team at home and Jackie is more involved this year in the running of the yard. We do a lot of tests on the horses. Everyone knows what they are doing and a lot of the staff have been with me a good few years.

Jessies Dream did it well and will run in a novice hurdle soon before going to Fairyhouse. He jumps well and I wouldn't be afraid to step him up in trip.

It was a good decision by the authorities to let the meeting continue. This fellow was a very difficult quirky horse and Raymond Dunne has done a fantastic job at home to get him to settle. He needs a trip and he will probably go jumping now. (EM)
