His jumping came together today. The last day he overreached one early on. He did the same today but Danny said he was back into stride straight away. He loves Galway and the owners love Galway as well. He hasn’t been that busy so there are probably a few novice races there for him and we’ll probably keep him going until Christmas. The Galway Plate trip would be ideal for him. He wants further than today.

Rachael was super and the horse was super. He was keen in her hands and she had the brains to let him roll on. When you are up there you are out of trouble. She was very good on him, as she is on them all. She rode one of her first winners here for the Mees on Camlann so it's great to have her back in the colours and get another winner for them. For me it's some week to win two feature races in Galway. We have only a small team of horses and to have two features going home is unbelievable. I have to thank the staff at home and Rachel, my partner. Without them I'd be no-one and it's the same with every trainer, without the staff they are no-one. It's a tough time with staff, expensive times. For any small trainers out there I'd say keep at it because you'll get there. This means so much to everyone that is involved in horses. It's a tough time on owners as well because everything has gone so expensive. It's a good crowd today and the other day they were five deep all around when Hewick won (Galway Plate). It's unreal and when they see a small trainer winning they are always there to support them.

He is lazy and needs stoking up. Conor gave him a brilliant ride because he was off it a long way out and I'm lucky to get him after the other chap (Jordan Gainford) got hurt. He needs further and needs daylight because he is a typical flat horse who never jumps as well as a national hunt horse. I think he wants two and a half miles and its great to get a winner for these people (Mees) on the day. We have nothing planned, I don't think the handicapper can be over hard on him and he wasn't over hard on him the last day. It's great to get a winner in Galway, I always say one winner does the job.

It was a summer maiden hurdle and I'd say it was a bad race. I'm just glad to get his head in front because I've found it so hard to win with him over hurdles. I'd say he won't get into Galway as he's too low. He'll jump a fence in time but it's taken so long to win over hurdles with him. He's just not a winter horse but probably wants a good cut in the ground so it's Catch 22. All I wanted to do was get his head in front and we've done it today.

I think this lad is very special and I'll go as far as saying he is the best I've had since Hidden Cyclone,. He was just doing everything really well and will go to Galway for the winners' bumper. He has plenty of toe. I own him myself and I want to sell him to keep him in the yard. He was in training with John Gosden and is a well bred flat horse. He does everything right and is a great horse to jump.
