she's been the model of consistency ,she's done it well there and she obviously likes the track. Those 47-65s can throw up anything and anytime they run around they are different races. We're pleased with her and delighted for the owners. She's a lovely mare to train, she just needs a little gap between her races and deserved that because she's been very consistent and Ronan gave her a lovely ride. We'll see where the programme leads, unfortunately you can't say that I'd like to go here or whatever, as it depends on the programme. The beauty is that she's protected (from the ballot, being a recent winner) now and we can pick our race.

We're very pleased with her, she battled well. Cian gave her a lovely ride as we were very worried about the ground with her,. They kicked early on and he just bided his time and kept her out on the better ground. She found and she battled hard for him. I'm very pleased that her owners have given me and Michael time to give her a chance and it's repaying them now this year. She's a specialist filly, seven furlongs is her trip and she doesn't get a yard over or a yard under. Wherever the next seven furlongs is now is where she'll head to. Cian was very clever, he kept her on the better ground as it's very chopped up on the inside. Honestly had she not been drawn wide we wouldn't have run her, which is a rare thing to say about Gowran. It was better ground where she was going to be coming up and that was the deciding factor in whether we ran her or not.

she got into trouble at Leopardstown the last day and full marks to the owners who have persevered with her. She had placed form in the past but had niggly problems and in fairness the owners stuck by me too - it is very much appreciated. She is a seven furlongs filly, she doesn't get six or a mile and unfortunately these races are like hens' teeth. With a bit of luck, she might build on today. The three-member syndicate are from all over the country and unfortunately today is the first time that none of them have been at the races. But the job is done so I'm delighted.
