I was only hacking around the whole way and he’ll be better going a stronger gallop and a bit further. He’s in the Hattons Grace but that will come quick enough and he’ll probably go for the three miles Grade I at Christmas.

they were calling it yielding on Friday morning so we said we'd take our chance. But when all the rain came and it went yielding to soft we said we'll leave him (Abacadabras) alone and not pull the legs out of him at this stage of his career and keep him for the Royal Bond Hurdle next week.

A big couple of days for Keith Donoghue and he showed there that if he has the ammunition he is good enough, . He's a great man over a jump and always was. We thought he was a machine in his bumpers but we had to give him an operation. I'd say a trip looks very good for him. He looked comfortable the whole way. He could go for a three miler over Christmas and could drop back to two and a half. He's a good horse.

We think he’s a nice horse — a horse for the future. Like all Gigginstown horses he was bought to be a chaser but he’s a nice horse,.
