He would have been favourite if he hadn't run the last day (finished eighth). He kind of clipped heels and whether he just got a bit unbalanced or whatever, I don't know. We decided to run a bit more positively tonight and the fractions looked good at halfway, so were delighted. We were in the right place. He's a very good horse and he's a very dangerous horse around here. He's a super horse to own, he's eight and he thinks he's three!. He'll have one more run here and he'll get an entry in the Winter Derby. It has been transferred this year to Southwell from Lingfield. Southwell will suit him better than Lingfield.

He loved it, Billy gave him a great spin. We knew there wasn't much pace but he has gone more relaxed now and he is running to that 104, 105, 106 all the time now. He is not going to run on Wednesday - he has qualified now for Newcastle for Good Friday, so he'll go to Dubai now and have three or maybe four runs out there. Then he comes back and goes to Newcastle, and then he goes on his holidays. Since Meydan last year, he has been running to that 100 all the time. He's a fine, big horse and he's genuine. I think the biggest thing is he is settling down. He's more professional now. It is a tough gig taking on the Godolphin horses and he is running in the Group races. He has covered himself in glory out there before. He hasn't won but he has been placed in a lot of good races. His first run last year he was beaten two lengths by Lord Glitters, I'd take that any day in Dubai!

he's improved again. He travelled really well into it but he doesn't kill himself when he gets there. There is a 1m2f race for him here in a couple of weeks time and I'd say that's probably his trip so I'd be hoping he runs a good race there. We'll have a think about Dubai after that, we'll see what the handicapper does with him.

He had a good comeback run here the last day and he would have needed it a little bit,. I think he'll be better over a mile, he got away with it today. I don't think they went as strong a gallop as I thought they would but he came home well anyway. It's good to have him back, there are two €20,000 handicaps on the run up to Christmas and the next day is over a mile so that should be fine. We'll see where we go from there and he might go back to Dubai. If he wins another one of those we might bring him.

timing is everything and he’s invited for Dubai. He’s been there for the last two years and to be fair he’s run better there than anywhere so he’s definitely going to go back. It was probably trainer error running him over shorter before as it looks like he stays every bit of the mile. I was going to run him back over seven on December 20th but he’ll go straight to Dubai now. I’m delighted for Denis McGettigan who is involved in him and would love to have a winner out there.

he's a fine big horse and I think I've made a bit of a faux pas with him as he's bred to be a sprinter and we were going seven and a mile. He was a little bit behind the bridle when he was younger, and greener, but now he's got a bit sharper and is more able to do this. I thought it was a good performance and the second horse (Admirality) is obviously a good horse and they pulled well clear. I don't where we'll go from here and if we find something similar we might go again up here. He's a horse with plenty of ability, he has a lot of size and scope. He's a huge big horse and to be fair he hasn't done much sprinting. He'll start to learn it now as we start to do more of it.

he is a lovely horse but is also a big green horse. To me he will keep improving as he's huge but he's well matured and he'll certainly be a very nice horse next year. If he gets a run he'll go for the Sales Race at the Curragh (Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes) - hopefully he will get a run.
