Chris got boxed in and got out and just got up on time and gave him a great ride,. We are winning at Galway a couple of months later than we planned on winning but it's good to get a win at any stage. . He has been a brilliant horse for Brian Ellison and Keith (Brown, owner) all his career and all his best runs in recent years have all been in Ireland so he switched him to Ireland because we regularly have soft ground here. . We never had as dry a summer and it's great to get his head in front today as we were struggling to get the job done. The drop down in grade was a help and being back at Galway was probably a bigger help. The end of season suits him and there are a couple of mile and mile one races for him.

I thought Baraweez was in great form but the ground has probably just found him out. I knew Dream Walker would like it. It's great for Baraweez to come back here four years in a row and Dream Walker has now won it two years in a row. It's a matter of keeping them right and keeping their heads right. Dream Walker has run three or four times this year and never lifted a leg but he obviously likes it here. All the jockeys have given them great rides. It's a dream result to have the first three home and to win this race four years in a row. I think Baraweez will come back for the Irish Champions Weekend. He won it two years ago, and ideally on good ground he'll be a better horse. He seems to be coming back to form which is good.

They started racing from a fair way out and Chris used his head. He sat and then got all the breaks. He's a class jockey. We've had a great week at Galway and have been here since Monday. This horse had a bad draw on Thursday but when he's here we thought he might as well run. We let him out on Friday and he was bucking and kicking, and in great form. I thought Stipulate had the best chance but he got no run on the rail, and Baraweez had a bad draw. Five runs ago this horse was on the scrapheap. He'd a wind operation that didn't work, and we said we'd give him one more run with a tongue strap. He finished second and has won two good races at home since. He has got more confidence now.
