I'm in shock to be honest. I can't believe it,. For an 11-year-old to climb the handicap so much but he's done it. His grand-mother was a full-sister to a National winner and being by Cloudings they seem to stay well so we said we'd take a chance in the race. With Sean's 7lb it was such a light weight and obviously helped so much over three-miles-seven. I'm just so shocked and thrilled to have a winner up here. The handicapper is probably going to have his say now but we don't care. It doesn't matter if he never wins again. It's been an unbelievable season and I don't think we've had a horse that hasn't finished in the first three, bar one on the Flat. The horses are rocking and long may it continue. We'll try and keep them healthy if we can.

We have been lucky this week as we've been involved in two photo finishes and have come out the right side of both. We've had plenty of seconds this year so I'm delighted to get the couple of winners. He is a grand little horse and Liam gave him a brilliant ride. He was very tough. I forgot to tell Liam beforehand to go a nice gallop on him and, as it turned out, he probably didn't go quick enough but he won anyway so I'm delighted. We said we'd try and bounce out and make all. We will enter him in the three mile seven handicap chase at Punchestown next week. It's 0-145 and he'd have nine stone eleven in it. He is from a good, staying family and so he should stay. We'll have a crack at that.

That was great. It was a brilliant prize to win with an eleven-year-old,. It's funny that he is still a novice. He has been a great horse for me. He won three point-to-points earlier in the season. He is a great horse to have and he has always done us proud. We will see where we go with him now. After running on so well the last time here over two miles I had this race mapped out for him. We'll see what the handicapper does, but today was the plan and any race he wins after is a bonus.

He's in at Wexford on Monday. He's a tough little horse and will run if he's ok. I have him three months and am taking more of a role with the training of my father's horses now, having had five point-to-point winners last season.
