He did well in Clonmel when he came up against a better one of Jim Dreaper's (Shopping Around) and we were going to let him off but he ran so well we said we'd give him another run. The ground has held up for him and now we'll see what way the ground fares out. You'd never know where we'd turn up. I wouldn't mind having a few more like him!

When he ran in Sligo we’d lost a week (work-wise) beforehand and we knew coming here he was as good as we could have him. We’re happy with that and he’s been a good old servant.

He's been a good old servant to us. I thought the ground might be gone for him there, as he likes top of the ground really. He handled it well and Mark said it's not that bad. We have him entered in a chase at Killarney on Friday and he could possibly go there if he's okay. He's just a nice little handicapper and we'll keep him going while he's going well.

The last day here he lost it at the start. There was a false start and he didn't get up there in time. He likes to get out and dictate the pace himself. We'll keep him going in whatever handicaps we can get into while the ground is good. He won going away there.

He is a nice type of horse and he had a good run at Limerick before we ran him on the flat at Gowran when he was only beaten four lengths. We were happy enough with that and it kept him going and it kept him sweet for today. He can mix hurdles and flat now and is a nice one for over a hurdle.
