With 4/5 favourite Spin disappointing badly in the Listed Flame Of Tara European Breeders Fund Stakes the door was left open for something else to gain an important win and Chrysanthemum grasped the opportunity on her debut to score at 25/1 under man-in-form Fran Berry. Sun 12th Sep
that's my first winner for David Wchman and its only my second ride for him. Chrysanthemum goes through that ground well but was a bit 'lairy' and wasn't doing a stroke. I always felt we were holding the other one (Barack).

Wayne gave her a good ride and she did it well. There are loads of races for her now and we will take it one day at a time with her. She might go for the (Listed) Victor McCalmont Stakes at Gowran now (Sunday, May 6th). She is very capable over seven furlongs and a mile.

She likes an ease and never really got her ground last year. She was third in a Group 1 and so she was entitled to win this today. She will go for any of those Group races now as long as the ground is not too firm. The blinkers helped her today.

She is still a raw and green filly. She has confirmed the promise of her debut win and is one to look forward to for next year.

She is a filly that we always thought quite a bit of. It was a big ask in a Listed race first time though and she has done it well. She could run again before the end of the season, possibly up in class.
