She is a smart filly but at the moment the confidence wouldn't be too high to going punting! . She seemed to be doing that on that gallops so we were expecting her to run well but of course it was a bit of a surprise. She is smart though and will be nicer next year as she is small and there isn't much of her in it. We won't overly run her this year but hopefully there is a good prize in her some day; hopefully that gets the ball rolling now. Adrian Paul Keatley, trainer

C. O'Donoghue, rider of Guthanna Gaoithe (GB) trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered at the start. The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the final bend involving Nudge (GB), ridden by Adrian O'Shea, unplaced and New Terms (GB), ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised Adrian O'Shea to ride with more care in the future. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined New Terms (GB), trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be stiff post race. Tracey Collins, trainer of Three Sisters (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge was blowing hard post race.
