An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when the winner, Santafiora (GB), ridden by Kieran O'Neill, interfered with Fantasy Justifier (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by David Probert.
O'Neill was cautioned for careless riding as he had been slow to correct his mount from drifting right-handed, resulting in Fantasy Justifier (IRE) being carried slightly off its intended line.
Following the race, Rachel Richardson reported that Spirit Power (GB), placed fifth, ran too freely and the representative of Tony Carroll reported that Toni's A Star (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the step up in trip to 6 furlongs 20 yards.
