The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Stupid Cupid (IRE), which had never previously been placed, was considered.
Sheila Lewis was interviewed.
Her comments that it has taken a while for the mare to come right following an injury and benefitted from the step back up in trip to 2m 7f over fences were noted and Stupid Cupid (IRE) was routine tested.
