Peter Atkinson could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Reverant Cust (IRE) during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Thomas Dowson reported that Generalisation (IRE), placed fifth, hung and jumped right-handed throughout.
