Spotty Dog (GB), trained by Mike Hawker, did not enter the parade ring due to saddling issues.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race in this race after interference on the run to the line, involving when the winner, Spotty Dog (GB), ridden by Liam Harrison had interfered with Voice Of Hope (IRE), placed second, ridden by Tabitha Worsley.
The Stewards found the interference to be accidental and it had not improved Spotty Dog (GB)’s placing, although Voice Of Hope (IRE) was taken off its intended line, the winner always appeared to be holding Voice Of Hope (IRE) on the run to the line.
The Stewards could not be satisfied that with an uninterrupted run to the finish, Voice Of Hope (IRE) would have finished in front of Spotty Dog (GB) with the winning distance being 1 ½ lengths.
