Mr James Robottom, the rider of Silkstone (IRE), placed fourth, beaten by a short head, had appeared to stop riding shortly before the winning post.
Robottom was accompanied in the enquiry by a BHA Jockey Coach.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Robottom was suspended for 10 days, on dates to be made available to him by the Head Office of the BHA, for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing on a horse that would have finished third.
